Hello everyone! This is my first article, but over time I am going to share with you how to successfully build your business on the internet, whether you have a home based business, a network marketing business, a multi-level marketing business and even a brick and mortar business.

The first tip I want to share with you is one you should already know and if you don’t, here it is:

TAKE ACTION!

Every business ever created was based on someone having an idea and then that person TOOK ACTION to make that idea a reality.

Having a business does not mean listening to a 60 minute training call, responding to some emails, taking a long lunch and expecting results.

Your business will go nowhere fast if you’re sitting still.

SUCCESS is all about TAKING ACTION!

It is better to take action and do all the wrong things than to do NOTHING AT ALL.

It is better to make a mistake and learn from that mistake than it is to sit at your desk and contemplate the “what ifs”.

“What if I didn’t choose the right company?”

“What if no one wants my products?”

“What if I say the wrong thing to a client?”

“What if…?”

As the shoe commercial says, “JUST DO IT!”

When I started my first work from home business, every day I woke up with the same drive that I had the day before because I knew that if I wanted to succeed I had to learn skills I didn’t have, make mistakes and learn from my mistakes.

I knew the competition was fierce and better than I was. If I wanted to succeed I would have to be able to do the things my competitors wouldn’t.

Many people have the fear of talking to strangers (I know because I was one of them. I had been shy my entire life). That meant every morning I would skip breakfast and immediately call leads for three hours straight with no breaks.

Did I make mistakes? You bet I did!

Did I learn from my mistakes? Absolutely!

But the important thing was I was TAKING ACTION!

Even if you’re physically away from your business, that doesn’t mean your business is closed.

If you’re on the road, listen to a CD that will help you with your business. Learn to use your car as your second office.

My car is full of foreign language CDs, inspirational CDs, even CDs that have nothing to do with my business but they were composed or approved by people who are successful in their field of expertise.

If you have a doctor’s appointment, going to the DMV or somewhere you know you’re going to wait for a long time, take a book with you that provides knowledge on building your business.

Schedule time each day, whether it’s at lunch, after you get home from work or before you go to bed, to read a chapter from a book someone recommended to you.

Every moment you use to invest in yourself and your business you are TAKING ACTION.

When people around you see you as someone who is determined to succeed they will want to know more about your business and your goals.

As Thomas Edison said, “Genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration.”

Don’t let a little blood, sweat and tears get in your way of being successful.

If you want something, you have to go out and take it. TAKE ACTION!
